    STORY WINS EDEN PROJECT PROJECT
    As part of the ‘Real Cool Futures’ project, funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, the Eden Project has commissioned Story Worldwide to design a website for launch in September. The site will act as a resource bank of real-life case studies of people who are already contributing to the fight against climate change – and earning a living while they’re doing it.

    ▬Keith Blanchard joins Story Worldwide as North American Executive Creative Director▬


    New York, NY (May 07, 2009)—While traditional media cast about for direction in the brave new world of merging media and brands,  what’s a heavily-qualified creative director to do for work?  For Keith Blanchard—former Wenner Media online editorial director and ex-Maxim Editor in Chief—the answer was easy:  join the storytelling revolution.  This coming Monday, Blanchard will take the creative helm at Story Worldwide as North American Executive Creative Director, where he will oversee the development of all brand storytelling initiatives.  He will report directly to Story Worldwide’s COO Simon Kelly and indirectly to Story’s Global Creative Officer Lars Hemming Jorgensen.

The magazine has a circulation of nearly 400,000.

    On Monday, May 4th Kirk Cheyfitz will speak about storytelling’s place in the social networks, user generated video, blogs, IMs, podcasts, broadband and mobile. This session will take place at 2:30 and will be party of Track II, “Reinventing Advertising.”

    On Wednesday, May 6th, Simon Kelly will talk about how a good story platform can be applied to several media platforms, including TV, Film, Broadband, Mobile, Virtual Worlds, Music and Games.
